Iraq, Turkey and Syria have put their water differences behind them and established a joint water institute. It is a brave show of political solidarity.
Turkey’s new policy towards the Middle East under AKP rule means the nation has assumed a more constructive role in the region as a pivotal country to accelerate peaceful negotiations regarding a set of problematic issues.
