An amendment to the Safe Water Drinking Act will ensure ongoing assistance for America’s rural communities. Kathy Shandling reports.
On 19 June, Congressman Bob Etheridge (D-NC) introduced a new bill known as H.R. 6313 to reauthorise the Safe Drinking Water Act’s small and rural community technical assistance provision.
The technical assistance provision allows small communities lacking in technical resources to access the necessary means to improve and protect their water resources.
