German paper companies are anticipating changes in legislation by installing wastewater recycling systems. There is scope for a large-scale roll-out.
Fresh water use at the Albert Köhler cardboard production works in Gengenbach, Germany will drop to just 2m3/hr from 35m3/hr when a new wastewater treatment system is commissioned in September.
