After three months of waiting, Spain finally has a new director-general for water. Marta Moren will have to work hard to make up for lost time.
Three months after the creation of the new Ministry for the Environment, Rural and Maritime Affairs, to replace the former Environment and Agriculture ministries, a new director-general for water was finally appointed last month to replace the highly experienced Jaime Palop, who lost his job along with former environment minister Cristina Narbona.
