Sacyr looks to exit the water business

Spanish construction heavyweight SyV could be forced to sell its services division, which houses its water-related activities. It is the group’s fastest-growing business arm.

Hit by a rapidly worsening outlook for its core Spanish businesses, construction and property giant Sacyr Vallehermoso is looking to find a buyer for its water, waste and environmental services division, Valoriza, in a bid to raise capital to meet its large debt obligations.
