Monod quits Suez for new role Vol 1, Issue 6 (June 2000)

SUEZ LYONNAISE des Eaux (SLDE) marked a turning point in its history at its Paris AGM last month. Jérôme Monod, 70-year-old president of the SLDE supervisory board, said he was to leave the company after 20 years to devote himself to “personal projects located in another world from that of the enterprise”.

Vivendi Environnement/Messier won’t be drawn on a date Vol 1, Issue 6 (June 2000)

Vivendi president Jean-Marie Messier has confirmed his intention to introduce between 30 and 40% of the capital of the subsidiary Vivendi Environnement to the stock market but wouldn’t be drawn on the exact timing. He said it would be “either before or after the summer break.”
