The Veolia Global Enterprises boss is looking for an investor to help buy out some of the group’s loss-making EPC businesses. It is going to be tough.

Veolia Environnement is to spin off some of its loss-making EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contracting businesses, according to an internal memorandum circulated before Christmas. Veolia Global Enterprises boss Jean-Michel Herrewyn is stepping down from his position to head up the project.
