Hitachi Zosen moves into RO market with Osmoflo buy

Following its acquisition of a 70% equity stake, Hitz intends to use Osmoflo to tender for large-scale reverse osmosis facilities in the Middle East. How will they fit together?

Adelaide-based desalination company Osmoflo will be wholly owned by Japanese firms by the end of the month following the expected completion of a deal by the founders to sell their 70% equity stake to Hitachi Zosen Corporation (Hitz).

Japanese trading house Marubeni Corporation will retain a 30% stake going forward, having sold 10% to Shine International Investments before Hitz stepped in....
