HNB courts foreigners for Haridwar

Although it is well established in India’s sewage treatment market, HNB Engineers has no experience of executing PPPs. It is now looking for foreign finance partners.

At Haridwar in Uttarakhand, a contract to finance, build and operate two new wastewater treatment plants with capacities of 68,000m3/d and 14,000m3/d has been awarded to HNB Engineers, which submitted a low bid of INR1.7 billion ($26 million).
