Mobile water treatment solutions provider WaterFleet LLC has secured investment from private equity house EagleTree Capital which will enable it to expand its fleet capacity and develop references in adjacent fields of activity.

WaterFleet CEO Alan Pyle told GWI that the Texas-based company has been growing its top line at a double-digit rate for the past two years as it rolls out systems to an increasing number of clients in the upstream oil and gas sector.

The company supplies both drinking water and wastewater treatment systems to serve personnel at remote drilling sites, with the technology configured so as to be able to cope with a large array of feedwater types, Pyle explained.

WaterFleet is also expanding into the industrial construction and emergency response fields, and its rapid response time saw its first commercial deployment in the emergency field earlier this year, following the hurricanes which hit Texas.
